Every year the state of Indiana runs a charity campaign called the State Employees' Community Campaign. The goal is to raise as much money as possible for various charities from state employees. For the 2018-2019 campaign the Department of Revenue was in charge of organizing everything. As part of that we had the opportunity to redesign the logo for the campaign. I wanted to stay true to the original concept while updating it to more modern design sensibilities.
The Indiana flag colors were used for the majority of the design with red as an accent. A tall font was used to complement the shape of Indiana's silhouette. I wrapped the heart around the state of Indiana while the text was used to balance the design.
