"Advil Liqui-Gels"

Packaging Design

Dimensions: 6.5 inches x 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches

So there are a number of things wrong with this packaging design. Far be it from me to disparage the logo design and general aesthetic of the box. The brand is recognized for this typeface and general color theme (they've barely ever changed it). However, it is rather old and archaic, I felt that a Victorian design for the box would make it seem established and reliable without looking unintentionally outdated.

The biggest problem is again the practical. The "Drug Facts" panel is only barely readable (and not at all readable if the reader is suffering from a migraine, which the formatting may give him). Furthermore, it impedes practically the whole box, which doesn't really help give it the feeling of relief that most people suffering from some painful affliction want. Finally, Advil has been so concerned for its client's health in the past that they've decreased the number of Advil found in a single box. I simply took this further by decreasing it even more and placing them in individual packets.
